A day out with Alison Tod

Another amazing day over in Abergavenny today assisting David Hurn. Today we visited Alison Tod, creator of such fabulous hats as pictured here.

I first met Alison whilst assisting David on Multistory’s Open For Business project; we spent a number of days photographing her business, her creations and her clients earlier this year. (What’s more, I finally have a wedding coming up in 2014 for which I may well be needing a hat!) Her creations are always so beautiful, and everyone in the shop is always so friendly and charming. Alongside occasional visits to The Angel, we always have such a lovely time whenever we go a visit; it’s more like a day out than working.
