London show – The Night-Time Economy / Yr Economi Nôs

Heya everyone,

Just a quickie – S.J. Fowler and I would once again like to invite you all to attend the opening night of The Night-Time Economy exhibition next month in London at the Rich Mix Cinema & Arts Centre in Bethnal Green. This is the second show in this Research & Development project funded by the Arts Council of Wales, and is on Steven’s home turf in London. We can’t wait to see what the feedback to the project from there will be.

The Night-Time Economy

A collaboration between Newport – based photographer Kate Mercer and poet S.J. Fowler, The Night-Time Economy explores the fractious energy of Newport’s night life.

The exhibition will feature photography and poetry, the latter in the English original with translations into Welsh. The opening will feature readings from S.J. Fowler, and special guests Nia Davies and Eurig Salisbury, followed by a Q&A.

This project has been supported by a Research & Development grant from the Arts Council of Wales.
