On Friday 15th January 2016, I had the pleasure of photographing the Liberal Democrats Fundraiser Dinner at the Lysaght Institute in Newport. Hosted by local Liberal Democrat candidate Paul Halliday (Newport East) the evening brought together in total of 60 guests, party members, local business owners and other interested parties, for a 3 course meal raising money to support the party’s Welsh Assembly election campaign in May.

With one of the many highlights of the evening being a live question and answer session from guest speaker Vince Cable (former Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills), there was also the opportunity for guests to win a selection of prizes through an auction and raffle on the night.
