Heya folks,

I’m really excited to confirm that I will be taking part in this years Red Route march as one of Made in Roath’s commissioned artists, sharing new work along the trail.

Taking place over this year’s May Day Weekend (29th – 30th April), #redroute2017 is a unique 27 mile march over two days we’ll walk along the Taff Trail between Merthyr Tydfil and Cardiff, sharing and celebrating, and experiencing specially commissioned artworks and performances, demonstrating the importance of art and culture to society. Arriving in Roath on the Sunday, the walk ends in Made in Roaths’ Made in Spring Street Festival a street party with creative style full of art, performance, music and a celebration of Roath’s community.

Don’t be put off by the distance – anyone who takes part is welcome to come and go as you please, and it’s more than possible break the walk up into smaller distances by hopping on and off trains along the Merthyr line back towards Cardiff… great for artists, art lovers, dog walkers and those in need of some country air!

Full details on artists, route and timings available through the Made in Roath’s Facebook event page here, and you can find updates throughout the day by following #redroute2017
